Orlando Home & Garden Show Showcases 250 Vendors, Free Admission

Homeowners, gardeners and interior designers of all ages and backgrounds will flock to the Orange County Convention Center this weekend.

The 14th Annual Orlando Home & Garden Show invites guests to visit more than 250 vendors at Central Florida's largest show February 24-26.

“In spring, everyone thinks about the outdoors, pools, terraces, spas and gardening. We have a lot of knowledge about gardening; you can meet the experts," said Pamela Rogers, vice president of strategic planning and development at Show Technology Productions, the organizer of the event. "Get free information, free access to ideas and inspiration."

Throughout the weekend, attendees can meet contractors and exhibitors, compare prices, connect with local suppliers and get advice on home projects. Homeowners can help with kitchen and bath, window treatments, alternative energy, landscaping, decorating, garage organization, and more. they can explore the latest trends in several fields including

"There's so much technology now that a salesperson can sit down with you at a booth and give you a quote and show you what your design is going to look like," Rogers said. "When it comes to your home and garden, we consider everything from the front door to the yard that you will use in some way in your everyday life."

Bass Pro Shop's large outdoor store features over 3,000 square feet of kayak, camping, outdoor fishing gear and. Visitors can also find gardening workshops, pet adoptions, pet accessories and a wide variety of vendors with food and free samples.

“The best part is the shopping section, which offers cakes, cookies, pies, candies, wine tasting, olive oils, sauces and mixes. You can enjoy it that way," Rogers said.

Freebies include two La-Z-Boy chairs, exercise weights and 100 free cookies at the door every day. The first 100 children ages 12 and under on Saturday and Sunday will receive free tickets to Crayola Experience Orlando.

"Once you have your new shelter, your man cave, new decor and all that, you can bring home a new animal and walk away with a cupcake," Rogers said. "You can find what you need and then enjoy it."

The 14th Annual Orlando Home & Garden Show is February 24th from 12:00pm to 6:00pm, February 25th from 10:00am to 6:00pm and February 26th from 11:00am to 5:00pm as open as 9800 International Orlando Drive.
