Premade items for the win!
Chrissy Teigen shares a hack that has saved her and her family a lot of time (and sanity?) as they prepare for Thanksgiving.
The 36-year-old "Cravings" author said she uses store-bought hard-boiled eggs that have already been peeled to make deviled eggs.
"Cutting year: I bought all my hard boiled and peeled eggs and won't be buying any more. (Luna still doesn't like eggs)," Teigen tweeted on Wednesday.
She shared a cute video of her 6-year-old daughter Luna separating the yolk from the white to make her face.
Teigen also used a store-bought peel to make her sweet potato pie.
"More corner cutting: Sweet potato streusel pie with Marie Callender's frozen crust," she tweeted along with a photo of the filling and another photo of Luna posing with the finished product.
Thanksgiving will definitely be a family affair for Teigen, her husband John Legend, 43, and their children Luna and Miles, 4. It's been an eventful year for the group, with Teigen announcing her pregnancy in August.
"The past few years have been nothing but emotional turmoil, but joy once again fills our homes and hearts," she wrote on Instagram. "After a billion punches (lately on the feet, you see!) we've got another one on the way."
Her August announcement comes nearly two years after she and Legend became pregnant in 2020. Because of this experience, Teigen said she was nervous about publicly announcing her new pregnancy.
She wrote on her Instagram account: “Every meeting I say, 'OK, if today is the day to announce it', but then I breathe a sigh of relief, feel my heartbeat and decide I'm still too nervous . August Mail "I don't think I walk away from a date more excited than nervous, but so far everything has been perfect and wonderful and I feel hopeful and amazing."
Although he did not reveal the exact expiry date, it seems that it is not too far away.
On Instagram in mid-November, Teigen said she wanted to "get some rest and try to enjoy the last few weeks of life as two babies."
