We're entering a two-week zone where we want to splurge a lot. As you wait each day, the need to find the perfect gift for the people on your shopping list increases. As an adult, the hardest part is buying gifts for other adults, such as adult siblings, parents, grandparents, and relatives.

When we struggle to come up with gift ideas for someone, we think about what they like to do in their spare time. I think that's why I buy a few pilsner mugs and glasses every year. I'm sure at least some of your tough friends and family love gardening. Several sources also rank it as the number one hobby in the country.

Gifts for gardeners can't go wrong when you're shopping impulsively at the mall. You need to know what to focus on in your garden and landscape.

electrical tools

They always make great gifts for both men and women. Anything that makes work easier will always be a welcome gift. You have many options today. Previously, electric tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers and chain saws were only available with gasoline engines, but now all of these tools are available with an electric drive.

In the past, these types of power tools weren't popular because they weren't as powerful as gas engines, but technology has changed. Some power tools used to have a cord, but now they run on long-lasting batteries. In addition, gas engines do not require maintenance.

tools

Of course, there are many types of hand tools you can buy for your gardener, such as pruning shears or garden shears. You can't go wrong with a good pair of gardening gloves. Skilled gardeners wear even the best gloves on the market.

garden book

This is another great idea. Garden books are the only garden gifts that recipients can use right away. There are thousands of gardening books to choose from. My advice to you is this: When buying books, especially online, be sure to narrow your search to the Midwest or the state where you live. For example, search for "horticulture books for Ohio". The more specific the book is to an area, the better informed it will be.

Membership

Another suggestion is to get a membership to a place where your favorite gardener can learn more about the plants in our area, like the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden or the Cincinnati Nature Center. By becoming a member of these sites, you will be able to see and learn about all types of plants, as well as expand your knowledge of native plants and their conservation.

Card

If you're still trying to find good garden gifts, you can always pick the right gift for just about anyone. This will be a gift card for your favorite garden store. If you don't have a favorite garden center, you can also purchase a gift certificate from your favorite gardening store.
