Here Are The Cooking Tips You Need To Start Off The New Year Right

If you're anything like me, the only holidays left in your pantry are a few brownies that burst into the last cookie jar. Your oven rests so many turkeys and all the pies in the oven. A sauce-splattered war zone, your kitchen is exactly what you feel: a little tired of cooking so much food, thinking about food and eating it all.

I wasn't quite ready for my New Year's resolution (I had brie chips the other day - it definitely spurred me into the new year), but I still felt ready to make them. Fresh start I'm ready for a little support, support, but not intimidation.

The Food & Wine gourmet team wants to help us all in the new year by sharing some of our favorite culinary tips. We are not asking you to change everything you do, buy a lot of fancy equipment, or start a new diet.
