Danny DeVito says his old friend Arnold Schwarzenegger walked animals "everywhere" in his California home and still takes "cigars" to this day.
DeVito, who is promoting his Disney + Little Devil series, spoke to the Sunday Times about Schwarzenegger and his love of animals. DeVito told the newspaper that he tends to the Schwarzenegger household, as he knows many of Schwarzenegger's pets.
"Animals are running everywhere, come out... Ha, ha, tell me, what is it?" Oh, it's a horse - a horse? Arnold loved his animals and still smoked cigars,” DeVito said.
Schwarzenegger delighted the internet in March 2020 when he shared a video of himself and his pet, Lulu the Donkey and a miniature horse Whiskey, in March 2020. The video encouraged Californians to stay home due to the sharp rise in COVID-19 cases at the time. A month later, Schwarzenegger announced that he was selling Whiskey and Lulu T-shirts.
In addition to Lulu and Whiskey, Schwarzenegger has two dogs named Dutch and Cherry.
DeVito and Schwarzenegger have collaborated on many films throughout their careers, including 1988's Gemini, 1993's Last Action Hero, and 1994's Junior.
Schwarzenegger, 75, recently starred in the 78-year-old episode of DeVito's Little Devil. De Vito told The Sunday Times that he and Schwarzenegger are exploring the possibility of working together again.
“I try: Boys Lucy, Jake and Arnold are looking for us because we love working together and we still have a lot of passion,” DeVito said, referring to his sons Lucy and Jake.
