Seattle hosts the 34th Annual Northwest Flower and Garden Festival. Themed "Spring Vibes Only" living room is the best place for a budding or seasoned gardener to get inspiration.

Dates and times

The festival runs from February 15th to Sunday, February 19th. Doors are open Wednesday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Features of the festival

The festival has many features to keep everyone entertained. This year's features include City Life, Container Wars, Marketplace, Flowers and Bubbles, and Garden Response Meet and Greet.

There are also a variety of vendors at this year's fair. With gardening, landscaping, grooming, fencing, and garden tools, as well as clothing, jewelry, arts and décor, and health and well-being.

Two of the biggest attractions of the Flower and Garden Festival are, of course, the gardens and over 90 free workshops. More than 20 gardens bring to life the central theme of "Only Spring Vibes" with their unique and vibrant designs. Some of this year's gardens are called Paradise Lodge, Florafantastic, and Afterglow.

Seminars are organized by categories. The schedule changes daily and is first come first served. The Northwest Flower and Garden Festival recommends arriving at least 15 minutes early to the workshops to ensure a good seat.

Tips and Advice

The living room is child friendly, but pets are not allowed unless they are service animals.

There is a checkpoint near the plane where goods and purchased plants can be delivered during the day. These items can be obtained at the end of the day.

The Northwest Flower and Garden Festival recommends allowing four to five hours for the festival.

Food is available at the festival. Several vendors offer food and beverages in addition to dining options at the Seattle Convention Center.

Although photos and videos are allowed at trade shows, permission must be obtained before taking videos or photos from vendor booths. Photography and video recording are not allowed in the seminars.

There are various options for purchasing tickets. The adult ticket can be purchased as a half-day, full-day, two-day or five-day ticket. Discounted tickets are available for groups of 20 or more. Entry is free for children under 12 years old. Tickets can be purchased online.
