Learn about good and bad bugs at the Monroe Garden Club
Join the Monroe Garden Club on Monday, March 13 at 1:00 pm to learn about good and bad garden bugs.
Master gardener Laura Cooper will talk about 'good bugs/bad bugs'. This will help you identify beneficial insects in the garden and guide you on how to get rid of destructive insects.
The Garden Club meets at the Monroe Community Senior Center, 276 Sky River Parkway, Monroe.
All are welcome. Patrons are encouraged to arrive early and bring lunch or purchase lunch at the center; Suggested donation is $4. If you plan to purchase lunch, please call 360-794-6359.

Landscape designers speak at Snohomish Club meeting
Garden designer Lori Kane will be the guest speaker at the Snohomish Garden Club meeting March 13 at 7 p.m., Snohomish Senior Center, 506 4th St., Snohomish.
A Washington State Certified Professional Horticulturist, Cain has operated Lori Cain Garden Design since 2009.

Learn more about the owls around you with a virtual presentation as part of the Camano Island Parks Camano Wildlife Habitat project.
The host will be Shona Aitken, education coordinator at Wolf Hollow Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Friday Harbor.

The Rock and Gem Club holds an annual sale
The Maplewood Rock & Gem Club is holding its annual rock and mineral sale April 1-2 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 8802 196th St. will be held at Edmonds, SW.
A variety of vendors will offer gems, stones, slabs, crystals, beads, blanks, cabochons, gemstones, fossils, gift items and more, rough and engraved, large and small.
