With the advent of the new year, calendars quickly fill up with events related to the home and garden. So take a calendar that works for you and note what will happen in the coming months.
• The WNY Home & Outdoor Show is scheduled for February 23-26 at the Hamburg Livestock Center at 5820 South Park Ave., Hamburg. An adult day ticket costs $7. Children under 10 years free. • The 2023 Jewelery Show is closed for three weeks until June 3rd, while the popular Sneak Peek Show is scheduled for two weekends from March, June 4th and 5th, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The Marvin Lunenfeld Beautification Grant, named after the co-founder of Garden Walk Buffalo, is now open to gardeners in the City of Buffalo. "The award of up to $1,000 will cover the total cost of the project and government partnership funding, private contributions, and volunteer participation," the press release said. Projects should be public - visible from the street - and designed to unite neighbors.
