With more than four dozen vendors offering hundreds of creative delicacies, the South Florida fair is a beacon for bona fide food lovers.

Fair Trade's newest food torchbearer, the team behind Cooking Channel's hit show Carnival Eats, answered the call today. Hosted by host Noah Kabi, the show has been running since Sunday, filming and enjoying tasty treats midway.

The show launched in Canada in 2014 and is currently the longest-running cooking show on television, according to Carnival Eats producer Paul Neumann.

By focusing on the interesting, hard-working vendors who work at fairs and carnivals across North America, the show helps give them a voice and let the world see a different, lighthearted, creative side to the culinary world. Neiman said.

They're not your average foodie friends, he said -- they range from regular Joes to racers and even emergency room surgeons.

As the show progressed, some of these vendors grew from single businesses to small empires. "You put us on the map," Neumann said.

She said the Carnival Eats team loves working with the vendors and they are incredibly unique. Not only in his creativity and work ethic, but also in his sense of community. Neumann said they all know each other well and would give anything to help another seller.

While she couldn't reveal the specific foods they'll be getting from the South Florida fair (the episode airs in July 2023), she mentioned banning Guaca Go, Rosie's Nachos, and Carnival Concessions.

Niemann said this is his second time participating in the South Florida show. The fair visits 30-35 fairs each season, and this is the fourth stop in 2023.
